Biography

Dr. Berry came to 国产哟哟 in 1999 from the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague, where he taught missiology courses and worked directly with church leaders in Europe and the Middle East. He has served as a church pastor, missionary, author and professor during his thirty-six year ministry.  He has traveled to more than fifty countries in five continents and published two books.

Biography

Paula Qualls joined the Department of Religious Studies and Philosophy in 1999.  Prior to that, she taught for two years at Campbellsville University in Kentucky and as an adjunct with Simmons Bible College in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Qualls teaches Hebrew and Old Testament classes where she incorporates service-learning and community engagement into some of the courses.  Her areas of special interest are historical and modern day slavery and the call to justice in prophetic literature. Publications include several articles and expository sermons.  Dr. Qualls has remained active in the local church, serving as teacher, conference speaker and youth minister.

Biography

Dr. Shauf was pursuing a comfortable career in computer science when God changed his course and sent him off to graduate school to become a scholar of the Bible. He has since published three scholarly books (one on Jesus, two on the Acts of the Apostles) and a number of scholarly articles. He loves to show students how the careful academic study of scripture can deepen their faith and service to Christ. He is active in his local church, having served in such roles as Sunday school teacher, deacon, and choir member. He has preached and led Bible studies in a variety of church contexts. His ministry experience extends internationally, having worked on a short-term basis with churches and ministries in China, Ghana, Germany, and Mexico. Dr. Shauf has taught at 国产哟哟 since 2009.

Biography

Dr. Sieges discovered her love of the Bible at a young age. Raised on the mission field in Papua New Guinea, Dr. Sieges鈥� parents instilled in her a deep love and respect for the scriptures as they worked with mission groups and indigenous peoples to translate the Bible into unwritten languages.

Dr. Sieges came to 国产哟哟 as an undergraduate student in 2002. Her Religion classes at 国产哟哟 gave her tools to study the Bible in greater depth and know God in new ways. It was in her senior prophets class that she felt the call of God to continue her studies and become a Bible professor.

Dr. Sieges came back to 国产哟哟 as a professor in 2015. She is passionate about helping students dive into the richness and intricacies of the scriptures.
